Three LBK researchers among the world's top 2% most influential scientists

Three researchers from the Laboratory of Biocybernetics have been included in the Stanford/Elsevier ranking of the top 2% most influential researchers worldwide for the 2020–2024 period:

• Prof. Damijan Miklavčič — achieved the highest ranking in biomedical engineering (2024)
• Prof. Tadej Kotnik — highest ranking in biophysics
• Asist. Prof. Lea Rems — also included on the list

Unlike the h-index alone, the Stanford/Elsevier methodology incorporates citation counts, co-authorship patterns, and researcher roles in publications, enabling more balanced cross-disciplinary comparisons.
