Cell Laboratory 1

Laboratory is used for work with animal cell cultures. It is equipped for routine work with cell cultures (laminar flow chamber, vacuum pump, water bath, inverted microscope, CO2 incubator). In the laboratory there is also available a dynamic fluorescent microscopy imaging system (Zeiss) and an inverted microscope EVOS XL Core.

Cell Laboratory 2

Laboratory is used for work with animal cell cultures. It is equipped for routine work with cell cultures (laminar flow chamber, vacuum pump, water bath, inverted microscope, CO2 incubator, centrifuge with cooling, ultrasonic bath). In the laboratory there is also available a flow cytometer Attune NxT and absorbance and fluorescence multiplate reader Tecan Infinite M200.

Cell Laboratory 3

Laboratory is used for work with animal and human cell cultures. It is equipped for routine work with cell cultures (laminar flow chamber, vacuum pump, water bath, inverted microscope, CO2 incubator with hypoxic chamber, centrifuge with cooling). The laboratory has available inverted fluorescence  microscope Leica DM IL LED and spectrofluorometer for cuvettes Jasco FP-6300.

Microbiological Laboratory

Laboratory is used for work with microorganisms. It is equipped for basic routine work with non-pathogenic bacterial cultures (laminar flow chamber, water bath with shaking, incubator, autoclave sterilizer and two centrifuges with cooling). The laboratory has also available Biophotometer Plus (Eppendorf), equipmnet for electrophoresis, cell disruptor homogenizer (Disruptor Genie) and conductivity meter Seven Compact S230 (Mettler Toledo).

Laboratory for Lipids and Tissues

Laboratory is used for performing experiments on planar lipid bilayers and animal tissues. It is equipped with devices for monitoring the transport of specific markers through the skin (Franz cells) and the system for electroporation of planar lipid bilayers where the effect of planar lipid bilayer structure, temperature and several electrical parameters on the process of electroporation can be studied.

Laboratory for Physiological Measurements

The laboratory is used for nonivasive measurements of different physiological signals in humans for education and research purposes. Experimental equipment includes Biopac systems for measurement of electrophysiological signals (EKG, EMG, etc.), equipment for measurement of some parameters of movement (force, torque, acceleration), instrumentation for measurement of parameters of microcirculation and oxygenation and execution of occlusion tests (laser doppler flometry, near infrared spectroscopy), and equipment for electrical stimulation.

Laboratory for Hardware and Software Development

It is equipped with variety quality class of measuring devices for monitoring electrical voltage and current such as oscilloscopes with additional probes for observing dynamic high voltage effects, and differential probes, in addition of professional multimeters, impedance meters and functional generators. It is equipped with basic working tools, large collection of electronic components, soldering stations, and computer for PCB and software development, and for circuit simulation.
